Is VMWare vSphere ESXi 8 compatible with Rapid Recovery?

A software patch has been developed to augment support for VMware vSphere 8 in Rapid Recovery 6.7. The patch can be conveniently accessed for download at the provided link Rapid Recovery 6.7 patch to add vSphere 8 support . 

Vmware vSphere 8 is officially supported as of Rapid Recovery 6.8.

For the most current and detailed information regarding Rapid Recovery's compatibility with VMware, we recommend that you review the System Requirements Guide and Release Notes located on the Quest Support site.

Steps to install:
1. Important info: before installing the patch: install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x64/x86, from here: x64 and x86
2. Download P-2633.msi.
3. To install the patch follow the instructions using this knowledge base article


Observation:
if the reinstallation of the prerequisites is skipped, a symptom where the volumes of the agentless protected VM failed to backup as the metadata can't be pulled.
