Binary log shows “Tape write failed” which means that there was a problem writing to media. This could indicate an issue with the tape media, tape drive or a problem with the connection to the tape device.
Filer reports a "command fail" at the same time in the filer logs. This is independent message to NetVault and is reporting a bus error while issuing command to drive by the operating system.
Tape library and drive are fibre channel attached devices.
