Run nvsched/nvmeddb to check and compact the NVDB.
Backup the NVDB.

Upgrade:
1) Stop Netvault services prior to the upgrade
2) Run the installation file from the local directory
3) Netvault upgrades the application and internal database to Postgres SQL - The data migration can take a significant amount of time
depending on the size of your NetVault Database and other factors such as system performance.
