Check the Quest Diagnostic Server service account is running on.
Check if Quest Diagnostic Server service is running with Local Service Account? If not then, try to change it to use Local Service account following these steps:
- Stop “Quest Diagnostic Server” service and altering it to use the local service account. (Please note of the original account for precautionary purposes)
- Restart it then try to connect again to Spotlight in Windows authentication. (Expect that it will still fail due to the change)
- Then Stop the service again and revert it to the proper account. Then try to connect again.
