If the Virtual Directory Server GUI has been open for some time displaying logs, you may see an error similar to the following after some time
*****[20120126084321] Log reading Stopped (Interrupted ! :java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space)
This has not stopped the Virtual Directory Server serving requests or the logs being written, it is simply a limitation of the amount of memory available to the Interface. Restarting the interface will clear the error.
You can increase the memory available to the jvm 256MB by default by adding the following option to the adminconsole.lax located in the same directory as the executable for the GUI
lax.nl.java.option.additional=-Xms256M -Xmx512M
You can also open the log files directly instead of viewing these in the interface.
