By default, the Rapid Recovery events database is located C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\EventsDatabase. This article describes how to change the location of this database. -

Rapid Recovery:
- Stop the Core service.
- Confirm that the MongoDB service has stopped too.
- Open the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\MongoService\ServiceController
- Export a copy of the ServiceController key to a memorable location.
- Modify the DatabasePath string to point to the new location of the events database.
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\ProgramData\AppRecovery, and move the EventsDatabase folder to the new location.
- Start the Core service.
