When the password in MSSQL has been changed but GPOADmin still not able to connect.

Causa
The database keys needs to be reconfigured to reset back the password. This is due to the fact that the password is encrypted by the GPOADmin service, and the service will not be operating correctly as the password is currently incorrect. -
Resolução
In this case we need to clear a few database keys and reconfigure to reset the password.
1. Firstly, change the value of below registry key.In the following registry location erase the data for the values below, and change the last value to 0:Location: HKLM/SOFTWARE/Quest/GPOADmin/VCConfigValues to blank: DataSource, InitialCatalog, ServerName, UserIDSet UseSQL: 02. Next restart the GPOADmin services, and reconnect with the console. You will be asked to reconfigure GPOADmin allowing you to enter the database server / database / new password.
