New LogFilter agent does not show up in Topology -

Attempting to create a LogFilter agent to moniter an application's outbound log for specific error messages. When the agent is created under Administration->Agents->Agent Status->Create Agent it successfully connects to the log file, and can be activated. But when a rule is created the agent does not appear in the list of available LogFilter agents with the Scoping Query Editor (with Topology type of LogFilter_ErrorVerbose selected). Also the agent does not appear under Configuration | Data
