When configuring the default template for a domain the dialog states that "New targets will be added to the default template for each target type." but new objects - targets are not being added.

Causa
Behavior is by design. New unassigned objects will use the alarm settings of the default template for the domain but will not be automatically added as targets.
Some cartridges may allow to choose an alarm template when creating a new agent. -
Resolução
WORKAROUND
The message is misleading as newly created targets will not be added automatically to the default alarm template.
Alarm settings of the default template for the domain will apply to all new and not assigned targets (None) or any object in that domain that is not associated with another alarm template.
Note: For email notifications from the associated notification channel to work; targets need to be explicitly added to the alarm template.
STATUSThis has been logged as defect Id. FOG-6058 for updating the description and has been fixed in the 7.1.0 release of the Foglight Management Server.
Enhancement Request FOGGENERAL-I-242 for allowing new objects to be added automatically as targets has been submitted to development for consideration in a future release of Foglight.
