You may follow the steps below to do a manual installation.
1- From the installation files, copy the Enterprise_ReporterNode_3.5.0.12000_x64.msi file to the server in which you want to install this software.
2- Run command prompt as administrator (to bypass or avoid UAC issues) and change the directory to the folder in which you copied the msi file.
3- Run the following cmdlet:
msiexec /i Enterprise_ReporterNode_3.5.0.12000_x64.msi /l*v nodeinstall.log![image.png]()
4- The installation wizard should pop up. Just follow the wizard until it completes. The
/l*v parameter from the above cmdlet adds an additional instruction to create a log in verbose mode. Please note that adding
/l*v nodeinstall.log at the end of the cmdlet is optional, but is recommended, so if the installation fails, you may look at the
nodeinstall.log to determine a root cause of failure.
5- Now that the node is installed you need to associate this node to a cluster. Go to your Enterprise Reporter configuration manager console and go to Manage Discovery Cluster.
6- Select the cluster in which you want to associate the node.
