Changing the discovery temporary file location -

While performing Discoveries, temporary data collection files, which are currently stored in the user's temp folder, can get large while collections are running. Due to size or performance reasons, the location of these temporary files should be configurable on a per node basis.

Support has been added for a new 'key' named DiscoveryTempFolder which can be added to the appSettings portion of the ReporterNode.Exe.config file. This value will be optional and if the folder is not configured or cannot be accessed, then the default location will be used. The folder must exist.
To use the new functionality,
- Backup the existing ReporterNode.Exe.config file located in the Enterprise Reporter Node installation folder, which by default is \Program Files\Quest\Enterprise Reporter\Node.
- Use a text editor such as notepad and locate the section.
- Add a row for the new DiscoveryTempFolder option with the value replaced with the path to an existing folder.
- Save the file.
