KACE Cloud Product Notification

Return
Product Release

We are excited to announce our most recent updates to KACE Cloud.

Look what's new

Scripting in KACE Cloud:

  • Create or upload scripts directly into your script library.
  • Run scripts on one or more Windows or macOS devices.
  • Automate actions using policy-based triggers like startup, logon, or scheduled times.
  • Track script execution progress in real time.
  • Filter scripts by operating system and language for quick access.

Redesigned Policy feature:

  • Add Resources such as Apps, Scripts, Profiles, Certificates, and more to a single policy.
  • Use the Link toggle to activate or deactivate policies for selected devices.
  • Bundle multiple configurations into one deployable unit to reduce setup time.
  • Apply security settings and compliance rules directly through policies.
  • Scale policy deployment easily across small or large device groups.

Reporting Enhancements:

  • Reports now display data in a row-wise format for better readability.
  • Apply detailed filters based on patch status, app status, and other properties.
  • Each report property includes a clear, descriptive label.
  • Improved report layout makes it easier to interpret and validate data.
  • Note: Some existing reports may show errors due to the enhancements. To fix this, edit the report and add missing fields.

Remote Device Locking Support:

  • Lock MDM-managed and registered Windows and macOS devices remotely.
  • Initiate lock commands directly from the console.
  • View execution status in the device history, including success or failure.

iOS Supervision Identities Support

  • Restrict which desktops can pair with supervised iOS devices.
  • Prevent unauthorized access through Apple Configurator.
  • Improve security during DEP provisioning by allowing only trusted systems to interact with devices.
