Product Release

We are excited to announce a new release of Content Matrix.

Look what's new in 9.11:

  • TLS 1.3 is supported.
  • .NET 4.8 is required for running the Content Matrix Console client application.
  • SharePoint edition:
    • SharePoint group mapping has been implemented, which enables you to add the membership of SharePoint groups on the source to existing SharePoint groups on the target while retaining existing members.
    • Large files (over 400 MB) can be migrated using OAuth with MFA authentication on the source if the Import Pipeline is used.
    • Only SharePoint Database (DB) connections are supported for SharePoint 2007.
  • File Share edition:
    • File metadata can be modified, and custom columns added using a CSV file.
    • Bulk migrations from a file system to a SharePoint target can be performed using a single CSV file.
    • User and group mappings can be imported from a CSV file, which is especially useful when mapping a large number of users and groups and also reduces loading time.

See the release notes for details on enhancements, corrections and improvements.

Version 9.9 is scheduled to go into limited support on June 10, 2025 and discontinued support on December 31, 2025.
