GPOADmin Product Notification

We are excited to announce a new release of GPOADmin.

Look what's new in 5.20:

  • Platform support updates
    • Ability to select Strict Encryption for SQL Server 2022 for data sent between the client and server when using SQL as the data store.
    • GPOADmin now supports TLS 1.3; however, Microsoft SQL Server 2022 still requires TLS 1.2 for starting up SQL Server satellite services.
  • PowerShell updates
    • Set-Configuration command updated for Strict Encryption for SQL Server 2022 for data sent between the client and server.
  • Additional rights
    • Ability to assign attestation using the “Attest” right.
    • Ability to assign keywords using the “Assign Keywords” right.
  • Miscellaneous updates
    • Users are warned if they attempt to remove Authenticated Users from a GPO.

Version 5.17 is in limited support and scheduled to be discontinued on February 1, 2025.

Version 5.18 is scheduled to go into limited support on December 31, 2024 and discontinued support on June 30, 2025.
