Active Administrator Product Notification

We are excited to announce a new release of Active Administrator.

Look what's new in 8.7:

• Security enhancements
• Ability to have a cryptographically random passphrase generated when configuring the Active Administrator Server.
• Support for Modern Authentication and the ability to use Exchange Online to send email alerts.
• HTTPS is now enforced for the web client.
• Performance enhancements
• Performance improvements were made to data collectors in the AD Health pooled agents resulting in optimization in the data processing and less memory utilization by the agent.
• Storage of certificate data has moved from the file system to the Active Administrator database which will allow for faster response time when processing changes and displaying results. Existing certificate data is moved to the database on upgrade.
• Storage of certificate information was optimized to remove storage of duplicate information which now allows for faster processing of certificate status updates.

Version 8.6.2 is scheduled to go into limited support on September 3, 2024 and discontinued support on March 3, 2025.
