Microsoft Announcement
On October 3, 2022, Microsoft announced a new requirement for the migration API.
Beginning April 1, 2023, the SourceType field will be mandatory when calling the Migration API.
What does this new SourceType property provide?
Microsoft has stated that this property will help them with configuring throughput performance for different content source types.
How does this affect me?
This requirement is forcing a change in Quest’s desktop software, Migrator for Notes to SharePoint.
Customers who have an active maintenance plan must download and install the latest release to avoid having their content migrations to SharePoint Online blocked by Microsoft migration API.
Customers who know that they will not have an active maintenance plan at the time of the release should contact your Quest Sales Rep as soon as possible to avoid having their content migrations to SharePoint Online blocked by Microsoft migration API.
Please see knowledge base article, Microsoft Enforces SourceType Field in Migration API for further information.
Workaround
Please download the Migrator for Notes to SharePoint 7.3 to avoid having the content migrations to SharePoint Online disabled by Microsoft migration API.© ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Terms of Use Privacy Cookie Preference Center
