Active Administrator Product Notification

We are excited to announce a new release of Active Administrator.

Look what's resolved in 8.6.3:

  • A new GPO repository is included in this release - ID394336.
  • Certificates installed using Active Administrator are not displayed in CertMgr.msc or CertLM.msc - ID407196.
  • Scheduling Active Directory Health Purge is not functioning properly on non-English SQL database servers - ID403827 & ID403981.
  • Audit agents on Windows 2012 domain controllers cannot connect to the SQL database using the MS SQL Native Client 11 - ID396893.
  • Resetting the default domain controller policy with dcgpofix causes the policy to become orphaned in Active Administrator - ID395443.
  • Error when adding a new Active Directory Health agent to monitor a domain controller “where at least one of the following AD properties are not set: dNSHostName, ServerReference, msDS-SiteName - ID389015.
  • Certificate Repository Report does not contain the correct data - ID388974.
  • Inactive account tasks failing when the option to leave users in place is selected - ID391359.

Version 8.5 is in limited support and scheduled to discontinue support on June 1, 2023.

Version 8.6 is scheduled to go into limited support on March 31, 2023 and discontinue support on August 31, 2023.
