An installation issue has been discovered with the recently released Active Roles 7.6. When attempting to configure the web interface on a second (or subsequent) Active Roles service which shares a database with the first Active Roles service, an error is displayed. This results in an incomplete configuration.
How does this affect me?
Customers who use a shared database with multiple Active Roles instances will not be able to complete their initial configuration on version 7.6.
Resolution
We recommend any customer that has downloaded but not yet installed 7.6 to stop their upgrade and wait for 7.6.1 to be released.
Status
This issue has been identified as Defect 318479.
Version 7.6.1 will be released in the upcoming weeks which will resolve this issue for customers.
