One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Sessions 6.11.0

In a joined installation of Safeguard Privileged Sessions and Safeguard Privileged Passwords, initiated sessions fail after an upgrade to version 6.11.0.

How does this affect me?

Customers with a joined Safeguard environment that upgrade to Safeguard Privileged Sessions 6.11.0 may find that initiated sessions fail due to a problem with the join configuration.

Customers running only Safeguard Privileged Sessions within their environment are not impacted by this issue post upgrade.

Workaround or Resolution 

Customers that experience this problem can choose the following options:

• Unjoin and rejoin your Safeguard products. Instructions for doing so are located here. This will establish a new join which will have the correct configuration.
• Choose to wait for the release of Safeguard Privileged Sessions 6.11.1 maintenance release, which will resolve the issue.

Status

SPS 6.11.1 is tentatively scheduled for public release on October 8, 2021. A customer notification will be sent to all subscribed customers upon availability.
