Changes to NLA settings in version 11 -

NOTE: This applies to anyone on v10.2 or earlier and has NLA enabled. The following must be addressed before upgrading to v11.NLA (Network Location Awareness) settings previously set through the registry on the client machines will be removed automatically by the script in KACE Desktop Authority version 11.0. -
원인
The NLA feature settings have not been exposed in the DA console in the past. Beginning with Desktop Authority version 11, the NLA feature has been added to the Global Options menu on the DA console. Accordingly, since the feature is not enabled in global options by default, the corresponding registry settings for NLA will be removed from the client machines because the feature is not enabled. -
해결 방안
There is no practical method to automate saving the existing registry settings that are set on the client machines. It is therefore recommended to manually save the settings from the client machine before the new script has a chance to delete the settings from the registry. Then use those settings to populate the related fields for the NLA feature in Global Options. To obtain a copy of the existing NLA settings on the client machine, run REGEDIT and navigate to the following registry location listed below for the respective platform. Since the settings for the NLA feature are now located in global options, it is not possible to configure different settings for various client machines as was previously possible using the registry settings. The feature will now either be enabled with the same settings for all machines or it will be disabled and the registry settings for NLA currently on all of the clients will be deleted. For those who are not sure if they are using NLA on the client machine, simply look for the presence of the main registry value for NLA which is EnableNLA. If the EnableNLA value is present, then the feature is enabled on that client machine. If the EnableNLA value is not present, then the feature is not enabled on that client machine.
