Cannot install the administrative service invalid credentials (4284467)

During the installation or upgrade process for the Administrative service on a server, the following error is received: "Domain User account. The service could not be (re)installed due to an invalid user name and/or password".

1. Windows file replication problems that prevent certain domain controllers from being updated. So for example, if the password for the domain user account has been changed on one domain controller, the rest of the domain controllers might not receive the update in a timely fashion, consequently, the domain controller chosen by the KACE Desktop Authority server might not be synced and the authentication will fail.
2. The domain user account could be either disabled or locked on Active Directory.
3. The KACE Desktop Authority manager console might have an old or invalid cached credential.

Please review the following steps for each cause:

1. Windows file replication problems:
   • Force the replication between the domain controllers a few times and re-try the operation. Kindly ask the network administrator to perform this operation.
2. The domain user account could be either disabled or locked: 
   • Review the account status on one of the domain controllers, use the Active Directory users and computers console to achieve this. 
3. Old or invalid cached credential:
   • Type in the username and the password instead of using the browse button to choose the username.
