Description
The metadata contains the ISO fingerprint information for every supported OS (Windows and Linux).
It helps the SDA to properly identify and classify ISOs uploaded from KACE SDA Media Manager.
The Driver Configuration file contains information about Driver Settings made to the KACE Driver Feed Library.
It also contains exceptions and updates for new device models.

Cause
The metadata and driver configuration file, are automatically pushed\updated (when available) to the KACE SDA Appliances during the nightly tasks.
But, KACE SDAs located on Dark Networks or Restricted Networks with no Internet Access, won't be able to use new ISOs until the metadata is updated.
These appliances, will not benefit from Driver Configuration updates either. -
Resolution
The KACE SDA Team offers an updated version of both the Driver Feed Configuration File and the Metadata information, in a separate stand alone download.
This is applied to KACE SDAs located in Dark Networks, to keep both components updated.
How to use this file:
1- Head to the attachments section below, and download the KBIN update file.
2- Go to Settings | Appliance Maintenance.
3- Head to Manual Updates and Select your KBIN file.
4- Hit Apply Updates.
Once this is done, verify that your Metadata is up to date:
1- Go to Settings | General Settings.2- Scroll-down to "Source Media Metadata".
3- Your Metadata date should match the one in your KBIN File.
NOTE: This will not change your KACE SDA version or build number.
