KACE Kontinuing Education (KKE) Recording: What's New - SDA 6.0 - Interface Enhancements (4309756)

In this What's New in 6.0 video, we will cover a few of the new Web Interface enhancements:  Color Themes, Auto-Refresh, and Drag-and-Drop.

Color Themes - With this new feature, a default theme can be chosen for all new user logins*, and once each user logs in, they can choose their own preferred theme as well.  Existing users will begin with the (legacy) Light Color Theme.

*note:  6.0 will ship with a known defect affecting Color Themes.  New local users will get the default Color Theme (set on the General Settings page), but new LDAP users will begin with the Light Color Theme.

Auto Refresh - On each listing page, there is now an Auto Refresh menu.  This feature works the same as Auto Refresh in the Systems Management Appliance (or SMA).  Whatever setting you choose will be remembered for you, on each page, each time you visit it.

Drag-and-Drop - Anywhere you need to upload a file, for instance in a Post-Installation Task, you've always had the ability to click Select File and browse to the file's location.  Now, in 6.0, you can drag a file and drop it right into the web interface, dramatically simplifying file uploads.
