In this What's New in 6.0 video, we will cover the new Clientdrop share.

New Clientdrop Samba Share - The SDA has several Samba shares, under its hood, that are used for various purposes.  In this release, a new one has been added, called Clientdrop.  If you have a KACE SMA, then you already know how it works.

When uploading a file to certain appliance locations, like Application-style Pre-, Mid-, and Post-Installation tasks, there has always been a file-size limitation - 1 and a half Gig or so.  That's what the new Cliendrop share is all about - creating a simple and easy method for uploading large files for your Application tasks.

Once the file is in the clientdrop share, you can add the file directly to any Application task by choosing it from the Select clientdrop file menu.
