The Basics:
Drivers that require multiple files to be installed must be zipped and then uploaded to the SDA.
The key to knowing what to zip is finding the setup.exe file. Its possible to see other files with the prefix setup such as setup.iss. This could indicate that the contents of the folder that contains these files are the desired file(s) to compress and upload to the SDA appliance.
Install Sheild:
Many of the driver vendors (Intel as an example) use the install shield for installing the driver. While install shield has a lot of command line switches, generally only the -s needs to be applied.
Example command: setup.exe -s
Intel:
Intel drivers use install shield as their installer but with one variation. They also require the -nolic command in most cases.
Example: setup.exe -s -nolic
Others:
The installers for some drivers just require running "setup.exe" and they are unattended by default, others may see a special file called something such as "issetup".
If there is a question as to whether there are command line arguments or not, one can always run "setup.exe /?" and a list of switches will be shown. If this does not work, try looking for readme files. These will sometime contain silent install information.
