Logging into the KSDA web interface takes longer than a few seconds regardless of the type of account used (local user account or an LDAP user account).
If logging into an LDAP user account is slow, but a local user account can login quickly, this article does not apply.
When logging in, the KSDA evaluates what items to display in the drop-down list in the upper-right corner. If one or more linked appliances are not able to be reached, it will take longer for the page to display, as the connection will need to time out before continuing.
Navigate to Settings & Maintenance | Manage Linked Appliances and test the connections for all entries that do not show up in the drop-down list in the upper-right corner. Any item that does not get a "Connection successful" result when testing the connection is contributing to the behavior.
