KACE as a Service Notification sur les produits

Retour
à titre informatif

Dear KACE as a Service Customer,

We are excited to inform you that KACE as a Service is moving to a state-of-the-art data center provided by our hosting partner, NTT Data. This new facility offers a range of enhancements to improve your KACE as a Service experience, including:

  • New Server Hardware.
  • Latest Palo Alto Firewall Security Devices and Tools.
  • Top-of-the-Line Network Equipment and Highly Connected Network Bandwidth via Contiguous IP Address Ranges
  • High Energy Density per Square Foot with Multi-Power Feed Redundancy.
  • Offsite Storage Technology.

These improvements ensure that your KACE as a Service is optimized for performance and security, and designed to even withstand events such as natural disasters.

How Does This Affect You as a customer?

  • New Public IP Address: Each KACE customer will receive a new Public IP Address as we transition to a larger network with better bandwidth.
  • Re-Establishing Site-to-Site VPNs: Under the new Palo Alto Firewall, we will need to re-establish the Site-to-Site VPNs connected to your KACE Appliance.

Please note that the internal/private IP of your appliance will not change or be affected by this network migration.

What Do We Need from You?

  • DNS Update: We will provide you with a new Public IP in the individual emails we send out. You will need to update your DNS to the new Public IP on the day of the switch-over.
  • VPN Form: If you have a Site-to-Site VPN, we will send a form along with the individual email. You or your network administrator will need to fill out this form and return it to us. The Site-to-Site VPN will also need to be changed over on the day of the switch-over.

Who Will Be Performing This Change?

KACE via its partners at NTT Data will be responsible for all datacenter side network changes.

When Will This Change Happen?

We will be migrating in phases, with Phase 1 starting on August 12th. Be on the lookout for an email starting August 1st. This email will include a link to schedule an appointment for your appliance network migration.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we make these improvements to better serve you.

Best regards,
The KACE as a Service Team
