A LiteSpeed Backup Alarm is raised when LiteSpeed reports a problem with a backup job. See the Spotlight on SQL Server Databases Drilldown (page 1) | LiteSpeed backups page for more detail on the job. You should refer to the LiteSpeed documentation for assistance.

These alarms require acknowledgement.

Alarm	Description
LiteSpeed Backup Failed	This LiteSpeed backup job failed.
LiteSpeed Backup Warning	There was a warning associated with this LiteSpeed backup job.

Tips:

These alarms are configurable. See "Configure Alarms" (page 1) for more information.
You can configure different alarm severities for specific databases. See "Configure Keyed Alarms" (page 1) for more information.
There is an example to exclude certain databases from this alarm. See Configure an Alarm to Ignore Certain Values (page 1).
