SQL does not display Metadata in Core UI (4033261)

This article describes a potential issue with Microsoft SQL Server and Rapid Recovery.

The SQL does not grant the sysadmin role by default. For the agent service to pick up this metadata, the system needs to have the SysAdmin role on each SQL instance installed in the protected agent.

The SQL does not grant the sysadmin role by default. To allow the agent service to pick up this metadata, the system needs to have the sysadmin role installed on each instance of SQL.

Complete the following steps.

1. On the agent machine, launch SQL Mgmt Studio and login.
2. Under login, right-click System and choose properties.
3. Click on Roles and check the SysAdmin role.
4. In the Core Console, click on the agent.
5. Click Actions and select Refresh Metadata.
