The following error message is found in the MAgE (Migration Agent for Exchange) log when troubleshooting mailbox synchronization to Office 365.
Error System.Management.Automation.Remoting.PSRemotingTransportException: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : Access is denied. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic.
To resolve this error you must logon to the Office 365 Portal and validate the password of the Service Account being used for that Mailbox Synchronization Collection, as well as the permissions of Global Administrator and ApplicationImpersonation.
If any of the required permissions are missing, add them as described in the documentation below

If the password cannot be validated, then it must be changed and set to not force a password change at next login. Update the Collection with the new password.
