A blank page is displayed for some users when trying to run a report through the Knowledge Portal -
Beschreibung
Some users may be unable to run a report successfully through the Knowledge Portal. The report runs fine for the InTrust service account.
If the same report is selected when logged into the SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) server, the following error will be displayed:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)Cannot create a connection to data source 'MainDataSource'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)Login failed for user <user_name> -

The Shared Data Source settings for the InTrust_Audit_DB are set to "Windows integrated security", and the user accounts being used don't have permission to the database. -
Lösung
Switch the Shared Data Source to use a predefined user account. The following steps can be used. They assume that the default settings are in place:
- Log into the SQL Server Reporting Services server as an account with sufficient permissions. (http://SSRS_server/reports)
- Switch to the Detail View, as opposed to the Tile View.
- Open the QKP folder.
- Click on the SharedDataSources object
- Select Manage from the drop down menu for any of the shared data source objects. This will typically be the "InTrust Audit" object.
- On the Properties tab, under the "Connect using" section, select the option for "Credentials stored securely in the report server"
- Provide a valid User name and Password. Typically this will be the same account that InTrust uses.
- If you specify a Windows account, select the check box for "Use as Windows credentials when connecting to the data source."
