Migrating multiple SharePoint sites (from 2016 Content Database to SharePoint Online) –

Adding List Copying Document Uploading Document version 1.0 Contents in Chunks Error: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. This is a known issue migrating from unattached content databases restored outside SharePoint.

Use the Extensions Web Service (MEWS) adapter for source connection as an alternative to database connection.

OR

Install a standalone SharePoint instance and attach the database to it.  Then use a “Local connection” or “Database” connection with Content Matrix installed on the server.
