When using the backup wizard to create a new backup job or edit an existing job, the following error message occurs:
There are no Virtual Machines in the current state. The most likely cause of this issue is changes in the Virtual Infrastructure....Please refresh inventory and recreate the job.
A possible cause of this is that vRanger does not see the Virtual Machines VM-ID's in the inventory because something may have changed in the inventory in the virtual center
1. Remove vCenter from vRanger.
NOTE: Any previous jobs will become disabled and will need to be recreated.
2. Re-add vCenter to vRanger using the FQDN of the vCenter server
3. Create new jobs
vRanger tracks inventory using the UUIDs of the VMs and vCenter. If the vCenter has a new UUID (through upgrade, reinstall, etc.,), the vCenter will need to be re-registered in vRanger.
