When you try to create a restore job vRanger GUI crashes and the following error will be shown.
This issue can occur when you do not have DNS in your environment and vRanger attempts to communicate to your VC(s) or host(s) via the FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Name) and there is no DNS to resolve the FQDN to a IP address and vRanger GUI crashes.
When no DNS is available in your environment please update the hosts file in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc with the FQDN and IP address info. This will allow the vRanger machine to resolve a FQDN to a IP locally and allow you to create and run a restore job trouble free.
