Failed backups point to ESX host which is in maintenance mode (4047407)

Failed backups point to ESX host which is in maintenance mode but the Host is actually up and running.

Host was removed for maintenance and put back afterwards. VMs where vMotioned and then returned to the Host once the Host was returned.

1. 1. 1. Open vRanger application
      2. Go to “My Inventory” view
      3. Right-Click on Host
      4. Click Credential Properties
      5. Enter a valid User Name (and/or root user) and Password
      6. Click Connect
      7. Wait for connection and save
      8. Repeat for all Hosts
