vRanger stopped working or will not start up.
You will see this in event viewer
vRanger Backup & Replication encountered an error during startup. The exact error message was: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID
Usually the error indicates that a component of vRanger did not register correctly in COM. This can happen if the installer was launched without Administrative privileges.
Completely uninstall vranger, keep the database or back it up.. and do a full install of vranger
I would uninstall, keep the database, reboot, then re-install by using the ‘ Administrator’.
