Restores fail when attempting to restore to an ESXi host and the user’s VC password contains an “&” symbol. (Ampersand)
This can affect the serialization of the Ampersand into the restore command
This is a current known limitation.The password will need to be adjusted or an ESX host (service console based) will need to be selected.
You can temporarily remove Virtual Center from vRangerPro DPP to complete the restore and re-add without affecting your scheduled jobs.
