In the vRanger 5.4 GUI VA edit screen you are allowed to change the scratch disk size after initial configuration. If you have already run replications on target VA doing this will cause all jobs using this VA to rehash disks.
The rehashing of disks on large virtual machines can take a long time.
This happens because changing the size of the scratch disk through the VA edit settings actually deletes and re-creates the scratch disk causing all vzmap files on target VA to be deleted. Please see sceenshot below which shows warning prior to resizing scratch disk.
NOTE: Doing this on source side VA should cause no issues as long as it is not done during running replication.
