LAN free backup slower than Network backup -
Description
Customer has issue where LAN Free backups were seems running slower then regular LAN backups, seeing slower throughput on the Backing up VM vix vs Backing up VM via Phys

Cause
Discovered that from customer's 3 ESX hosts have multiple paths defined to a switch then to his SAN but he had only one single path defined from his physical vRanger server back to to his SAN.
He is also using dual port HBA but only one port is connected and active on the fiber cable.

Resolution
If the ESX hosts are multipath to the SAN then vRanger has to be multi path to the SAN as well
vRanger physical server has to be configured the same way as his ESX hosts are configured connecting to his SAN.
