Physical machine restore fails with Error "2944 - FATAL usage_cant_find_uuid can't find uuid" (4043908)

• When using the restore boot CD, the machine cannot be restored and fails with the following message:

Error: 2944 - FATAL usage_cant_find_uuid can't find uuid

• The repository is configured to be CIFS/SMB. 
• The SMB1.0 support is disabled or SMB1.0 feature has been removed from the repository server. 
• The restore also fails when trying to restore using 

The boot CD cannot retrieve the savepoint from the repository as the requests are sent using SMB1.0. Since the current SMB client cannot auto-negotiate the protocol, it cannot open the folders where the savepoints and the metadata is located. 

This will resolve in vRanger 7.7 release. 

As a workaround please enable or re-add SMB1.0 feature on the repository server or use NFS to present the repository to vRanger. If this is not possible, please contact technical support.
