How to upgrade from vRanger 4.5.x to 5.3.1

There is an issue when you upgrade to 5.0. The issue is that remnants of 4.5.x get left behind in the upgrade process to vRanger 5.0

The uninstall process doesn’t complete or remove everything

We recommend that you upgrade to vRanger 5.0 fist and them upgrade to vRanger 5.3.1

1. The first step is to back your database up
2. Run the upgrade to vRanger 5.0
3. After it completes open Control Panel and uninstall vRanger 4.5.x if you see it in add/remove programs
4. Reboot
5. Run the upgrade to vRanger 5.3.1
