Dell vRanger FLR service does not start -
Description
Dell vRanger File Level Restore Service starts and stops immediately. Credentials to start service are correct. -
Cause
Service consists of 2 compoenents: Dell.vRanger.FlrService and EvmcVddInvs. they can be found in services.msc under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services. ImagePath variable may have incorrect value.

Resolution
Use regedit, navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services and make sure InfoPath is set properly. Below is example with correct values when Ranger is installed on drive C:
Dell.vRanger.FlrService.ImagePath: "C:\Program Files\Dell\vRanger\FLRService\UsdiService.exe"
EvmcVddInvs.ImagePath: \??\C:\Program Files\Dell\vRanger\FLRService\invsvd_x64.sysReboot is not required. Simply start FLR service.

Windows Event Viewer. Windows Logs - System may show explicit error about EvmcVddInvs service.
