Why is the virtual machine becoming unresponsive while running a backup? -
Resolution
This issue can be reproduced without using vRanger backup.
If a VM snapshot is taken manually from vSphere and left open for the duration of a backup job, snapshot will grow as it would during a vRanger backup job.
When the snapshot is then removed manually from vSphere, VM becomes unresponsive, which points to a VMware/Hardware related issue that needs to be investigated by VMware Support.
