Description
VA based backups fail with the following error "Error: The virtual appliance (VAName-vRangerVA) could not be found on the host it was configured for (Hostname). vRanger does not support vMotioning of its virtual appliances; please migrate the VA back to the host it was configured for, or reconfigure the VA's settings accordingly."

Cause
Although a VA may be assigned per cluster it needs to reside on the host it was originally deployed to. -
Resolution
Migrate the virtual appliance back to the host that it was originally deployed on.
