Replication Problems “Attempt to create odd sector disk failed” (4033657)

There are 2 probable causes for this error:

1)      The VM was a P2V conversion, which usually has an odd number for the disk size

2)      The VM was moved from a 1MB block size DataStore to a larger (4MB) block size DataStore.

1)      Right-click on the VM that fails

2)      Click on Edit Settings

3)      Click on the disk (Hard disk 1)

4)      Change the GB setting to MB so you can read the number in MB

5)      Change the Provisioned Size to the next higher number divisible by 2 (example; from 32,768 to 32,770)

6)      Click OK

7)   Attempt to run the replication job one again
