Performing a Full Restore - Physical Machine (video)
Preparing the Target Server In order to restore a savepoint to a physical machine, you must first boot the target server into the vRanger restore environment using the vRanger Restore images (ISO for CD, IMG for a bootable USB drive).

The steps for restoring a physical server is very similar to the steps for restoring a virtual machine.
To start the restore wizard:
Click My Repositories.
With Repositories & Machines selected, in the Working Repository pane click to select a savepoint to restore.
Click the Restore icon on the toolbar, or right-click the savepoint and click Restore.
The vRanger Restore Wizard launches.
In the drop-down menu, select Restore from Savepoint.
Populate the Job Name and Job Description fields. Click Next.
The Disk Mapping dialog displays. In this dialog, you map the protected disks in the savepoint to the existing physical disks on the target server
In the Restore Machine IP Address field,enter the IP for the target server. Click Map Disks.
The dialog will list the disks in the chosen savepoint. For each disk, select the appropriate target disk in the Restore to Disk dropdown menu. For disks that you do not want to recover, select Skip this Disk.
Configure the schedule options and click Next.
If email notifications have been enabled, select the address to which notifications should be sent. To select all email addresses, select the check box in the Selected column header. Then click next.
Review the Summary Screen which displays a summary of the selections you made during the process. To run the restore immediately, select Run Restore on Finish.
If you did not choose to run the restore from the wizard, access the Working Inventory pane.
Select a job to restore.
The restore will begin immediately.
To check progress or confirm completion, access My Jobs-->Recent Jobs.
