How to terminate a stuck job that has been running too long
Description

There is a job that has been running for a long time and appears to be stuck. How can the job be terminated?
Resolution

SUGGESTION #1:
Reboot the TIC server.

SUGGESTION #2:
1) In Toad Data Point, connect to your TIC server.
2) Open the Object Explorer (View | Object Explorer).
3) Right click in the Object Explorer and select Operations | Manage Scripts.
4) In the Script Manager window that opens, you should be able to see the jobs that are stuck running listed. Right click on them and select Operations | Cancel Script.

SUGGESTION #3:
If it looks like the job is not actually running any longer, but the job still shows that it is, follow the instructions in the attached document to change the status of the "running" job.
