Problems with uninstalling and reinstall. "Problem with this Windows Installer package" -
Description
After restoring the server Toad Intelligence Central is no longer working. The Toad Intelligence Centra service will not start up.
Trying to uninstall noted some error, as the Suite did not give the option to "remove". Instead it only noted "none" which is not expected. After trying to uninstall via Windows Add/Remove Programs, TIC and the services seem to be uninstalled.
But upon trying to reinstall, errors are encountered. The Suite gave the option to "install". It would start but soon after starting the install process, it would error out with:
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."In Windows Event Viewer, 2 errors were noted:First - MySQL error:The description for Event ID 100 from source MySQL cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.The following information was included with the event:"Cannot find or open table hub_information_schema/hub_users from the internal data dictionary of InnoDB though the .frm file for the table exists. Maybe you have deleted and recreated InnoDB data files but have forgotten to delete the corresponding .frm files of InnoDB tables, or you have moved .frm files to another database?or, the table contains indexes that this version of the engine doesn't support."Second - MSI error:Product: Toad Intelligence Central -- Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
