Unable to remove Toad for DB2 from MS Windows vista 64 bit ("Internal Error x, Action y"). -
Description
Toad for DB2 was installed on a Microsoft Windows Vista 64bit version. When starting Toad for DB2 the following Message appears:
DB21085I Instance "DB2" uses "64" bits and DB2 code release "SQL09014" with level identifier "01050107".Informational tokens are "DB2 v9.1....", ...., and Fix Pack "4".
Product is installed at "C:\PROGRAM FILES\IBM\SQLLIB" with DB2 Copy Name "DB2COPY1".
When trying to uninstall, the following error message persists:
"Internal Error 2721, Action 133173" -
Resolution
Toad for DB2 does not support Vista 64.
Use the Microsoft uninstall tool to remove Toad for DB2:
