Contacting Support

When contacting support please have the version and build number handy. You can obtain both from Help | About Spotlight. If your question is about an error message, write the message down and have it available for the technical support representative.

If you find that information in the Help system or printed user guides is incorrect, unclear, or incomplete, please report the problem to support.

Build the Support Bundle

To create the support bundle

  1. Click Help | Support Bundle.
  2. Select the Spotlight module(s) whose information you want to collect.
  3. Click Collect.

  • Support bundles contain information for the active instance only. If you are using Spotlight to diagnose multiple instances ensure that the correct instance is displayed before creating the support bundle.
  • Support bundles cannot be created when the History Browser is open.
